Arabidopsis homolog of yeast cdc2, a protein kinase (cyclin-dependent kinase) that plays a central role in control of the mitotic cell cycle. It may control G2/M (mitosis) phase progression. It plays a role in regulating seedling growth in darkness via regulation of hypocotyl cell elongation and cotyledon cell development. |
